How to search and browse CandorPick
There are three ways to find a review: search by product name, browse by category, or start from the homepage’s Top Picks and latest reviews.
Searching
Type a product or brand name into the search bar at the top of any page and press Search. Results match against the product name, so a partial name (e.g. “combi drill” or “airpods”) works fine.
Browsing by category
The Categories page lists every department (e.g. Electronics, Tools) with its specific subcategories underneath (e.g. Laptops, Power Tools). Click a subcategory to see every published review in it.
Reading a review
Each review page shows the retailer’s price and rating, a pros-and-cons breakdown, the full spec sheet, and a written verdict summarizing what real buyers say. Read more about how that content is put together on our About page.
- How do I find a review for a specific product?
- Use the search bar in the header — it matches against product names and returns every review that mentions it. You can also browse by category from the Categories page if you’re not sure of the exact product name.
- How are categories organized?
- Categories are two levels: a broad department (e.g. Electronics) and a specific category within it (e.g. Laptops). The Categories page lists every department with its subcategories underneath.
- What does the star rating on a review mean?
- The rating badge shown on each review reflects the retailer’s own aggregate customer rating at the time the review was published or last updated, not a separate score we assign ourselves.
- Which retailers do you cover?
- We currently cover Amazon, Target, Screwfix, with more retailers added over time.
- Why does a price or rating look out of date?
- Prices, ratings, and stock status are captured at publish/update time and can drift as the retailer changes their listing. Always check the retailer’s own page for current price and availability before buying.
